Here, I am going to share about 3 best and free source code editors and HTML IDE for Android devices. You can not only use these apps for writing and editing source codes, but also as an IDE for your HTML programs and building website on your Android device. These IDEs provide almost all features that are needed by programmer while writing codes. So, you can install these apps from the Play Store and start coding on your Android Device.


1. Acode

Acode is a light weight, powerful, free and open-source code editor app and web IDE for Android. You can use Acode as IDE for HTML, CSS and JavaScript programs. You can create your website on your Android using Acode and run it within the app or another external browser. It also provides a JavaScript console by the help of which you can see the errors and logs on the console.

You can execute HTML and JavaScript programs in Code Editor. Press the ▶ button or > ▶Preview to run your code. You can open the JavaScript console by clicking on the floating button. You will see the JavaScript errors and console messages on the console.

If your program is other than HTML or JavaScript, you cannot run it on the Code Editor app. But you can run it by using Termux or respective compiler of that program.


3. Quoda

Quoda is a easy to use and free source code editor app for Android devices. You can use Quoda for writing and running HTML programs as well as editing programs on any language.

This app has lot of features which includes fully customizable editor, editor themes, syntax highlighting, color picker, format HTML code and many more.
